Friday's Workout:
Today is all legs, hips and core! Our strength piece is Back Squats for triples so we're GOING HEAVY today!! Paired with a complimentary banded psoas march (to activate the hip flexors and core).
But before you get too excited, let’s talk about conditioning...
“Death by Workout” Kb Swings and Wall Balls, you perform 3 reps of each exercise and then rest until the next min. Then do 4 of both, then 5, etc. You keep adding 1 rep per exercise per min until you can’t finish the prescribed reps within the min.
WARMUP/ACTIVATION
Run 1 x 3:00 4 Play 1 x 10 Banded Hip Activations 1 x 10 RESET Y-Pulls 3 x 10 Barbell Step Ups 3 x 12 STRENGTH/POWER (for weight) Back Squat 4 x 3 Supine Banded Psoas March 4 x 10 x 2 s CIRCUIT (for rounds) "Death by Workout" Start at 3 reps per exercise. Add 1 rep to both every round/min and keep going until you can't finish your allotted reps within the min. Russian KB Swings Wall Balls 3 Per, 4, 5, 6 etc COOLDOWN Pigeon Stretch 1 x 2:00 Twisted Lizard 1 x 1:30
